Bacary Sagna to miss Euro 2012 after breaking his leg against Norwich

It is the second time this season that the 29-year-old Arsenal defender has broken his leg.

ARSENAL DEFENDER BACARY SAGNA will miss Euro 2012 after breaking his leg in the 3-3 draw with Norwich on Saturday.

The 29-year-old full-back pulled up in the first half of the game and was immediately stretchered off.

It is the second time this season that the French international has broken his leg, after he suffered a serious injury against Tottenham last October.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said: “It is broken fibula, the same leg. He was kicked on it, it has not happened alone.

“When he was kicked, he has broken the leg.

“The guy closed him down and walked on him. I don’t know if it was deliberate or not.”
