Israel continues bombing in south Gaza as Hamas issues warning over lives of hostages
Israel had urged civilians to seek refuge in the far south, but the army has kept striking targets throughout the territory.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on Hamas to "surrender now" after his national security advisor claimed the army had killed 7,000 militants.
The Gaza health ministry has said Israeli bombardment has killed at least 18,205 people, mostly women and children.
The UN General Assembly will meet tomorrow to discuss the humanitarian crisis.
