The red card came shortly after Tevita Kuridrani’s second try of the game put the Wallabies into a 10 -12 lead.
However, Scotland instantly capitalised on the man advantage as Ali Price grounded a try, adding to Byron McGuigan’s earlier effort to leave Gregor Townsend’s men with a 17 – 12 advantage leading into the second half.
