AUSTRALIA’S RUGBY UNION may be facing a bill from the IRFU after the Wallabies’ Aviva Stadium dressing-room was damaged last weekend.
A ‘few thousand euro’ worth of damage was done to fittings and doors in the away locker room on Saturday evening, according to the Irish Examiner‘s Tony Leen.
The incident occurred while new Aussie coach Michael Cheika was elsewhere doing interviews, The Star reports.
“There are two TV screens in the dressing rooms but they weren’t damaged, even though there were rumours about that,” a spokesperson said. “Some of what has been said is blown completely out of proportion.

“The Aviva dressing-rooms were built to the highest standard, so the cost of the damage is €8,000.”
The tourists were beaten by three points against Joe Schmidt’s outfit. They face England in their final November Test this weekend.
