When Twitter questionnaires go wrong: Here are 12 of the best/worst #AskStevieG tweets

IF ANY PROOF were needed that high-profile Twitter questionnaires involving major footballers are invariably a bad idea, today’s #AskStevieG scheme provided it.

The concept started innocently enough, with questions such as the one below being asked.

“Who is the greatest striker you have played with in your opinion?@dannyei2000#AskStevieG”

However, it was promptly hijacked by a number of anti-Gerrard tweeters, who proceeded to issue countless incendiary and, at times, hilarious questions – some of which can be seen below.
