Birmingham lapdancer Rio de Janeiro hijacks Ferdinand's #AskRio Twitter session

It made a nice change from all the ‘why did you skip a drug test?’ questions.

MANCHESTER UNITED DEFENDER Rio Ferdinand took over his club’s Twitter feed from Sydney today to hold a Q&A session entitled #AskRio.

Almost inevitably, despite the fact that it occurred in 2003, the former England international had to wade to a lot of questions about his failure to attend a mandatory drugs test in 2003.

He was also asked about convincing Cristiano Ronaldo to play in his upcoming testimonial, the eating habits of teammate Anderson, Andy Murray’s Wimbledon win and his sporting inspirations. It was a mix of troll and tame until a Birmingham based lapdancer, who goes by the name Rio de Janeiro, decided to throw her cowboy hat in the Twitter ring.

‘Rio’ performs at Spearmint Rhino in Birmingham and has posed for lads’ magazine Zoo in the past. She first tweeted her disappointment at not being the driving before behind #AskRio before deciding to hijack it anyway:

Rio shows her moxy.

And what have we learned about Rio de Janeiro this afternoon? She likes attention, believes honesty is important in a relationship, enjoys spicy food and is a massive fan of the film Goodfellas.

Greatest #AskRio Day ever.
