THE CLARE HURLERS have been boosted by the return of talented young forward Aron Shanagher, who will take his place among the substitutes for their All-Ireland SHC semi-final clash with Galway.
The Wolfe Tones na Sionna clubman has been included in the matchday squad for the Croke Park showdown, after suffering a cruciate ligament injury last year.
Clare FM reported last November that he sustained the injury in the weeks before the Banner traveled to Boston for the Fenway Hurling Classic.
Joint managers Donal Moloney and Gerry O’Connor have elected to stick with the starting team that defeated Wexford in the All-Ireland quarter-final, and sealed their first return to Croke Park since winning the Liam MacCarthy in 2013.
