WORLD ROWING CHAMPIONS Mark O’Donovan and Shane O’Driscoll put the oars to one side for a few minutes on Saturday night, to give a lovely rendition of a classic Irish song.
The pair were appearing on The Ray D’Arcy’s Show, when the RTÉ presenter mentioned that they like to sing and promptly requested them to give a little performance.

The recently crowned gold medalists were reluctant initially, but after some gentle persuasion they agreed to offer up a few bars.
Much to the delight of the audience, they sang ‘Will ye go, Lassie go.’

O’Donovan O’Driscoll won their gold medal in the lightweight men’s pair division at the World Rowing Championships in Florida last month.
