THE WESTMEATH SENIOR footballers are on the look-out for a new manager after Tom Cribbin stepped down today.
The Clane man was appointed on a three-year term at the end of 2014, and he led the Lake County to Leinster finals in 2015 and 2016.
Westmeath secured promotion from Division 4 this year and defeated Offaly after a replay in the Leinster SFC quarter-final.
They were on the receiving end of a heavy 31-point beating by Dublin in the last four, before they went down to Armagh in the qualifiers.

Cribbin’s managerial career has seen him manage Laois and Offaly in the past, as well as the minors and U21s of his native Kildare.
