Another injury doubt for England as Jones names 25-man squad for France opener

Former Leinster centre Ben Te’o could make his first Six Nations appearance on Saturday.

GEORGE KRUIS HAS emerged as an injury doubt for England’s Six Nations opener against France on Saturday.

The lock picked up a knee injury in training yesterday and will undergo further medical assessment today to determine the extent of the problem.

England head coach Eddie Jones has today named a 25-man squad, from which he will pick his match-day 23.

Jones is already juggling a number of injuries with the likes of Anthony Watson, Mako Vunipola, Billy Vunipola and Chris Robshaw currently unavailable.

Former Leinster centre Ben Te’o is in contention to make his first Six Nations appearance after the New Zealand native made Jones’s squad.
