And they did it in style, beating Hearts 4-0 at Parkhead and subsequently sit 22 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Midfielder Callum McGregor opened the scoring on 30 minutes, despite the fact that he wasn’t meant to start until Stuart Armstrong pulled up injured in the warm-up.
Scott Sinclair both doubled the lead and sealed the win — while Patrick Roberts found the back of the net in between Sinclair’s brace.

Today’s victory means that the Hoops have won 21 of their 22 league games this season, the only blot in their copybook coming in the form of a 2-2 draw at Inverness back in September. They have won all 17 games since then.
