Paul Dunne slips off the pace but still in contention for a top ten finish in Qatar

The Wicklow golfer is six off the lead.

IRELAND’S PAUL DUNNE remains on the hunt at the Qatar Masters ahead of tomorrow’s final round.

Currently in tenth position, the Greystones native began the day just a shot off leader Bradley Dredge, but he slipped off the pace as Jeung-Hun Wang pulled away from the pack with a third-round 65.

Dune is currently nine-under — six behind South Korean Wang — having hit another solid two-under-par 70.

Spain’s Nacho Elvira and South African Jaco Van Zyl sit in joint second, while Thomas Aikan is one shot off the pair in third.

Meanwhile, Graeme McDowell matched the 70 to jump to five-under, as he sits in 34th place alongside eight others.
