MANCHESTER CITY DEFENDER Bacary Sagna has been ordered to explain a social media post by the Football Association following his side’s 2-1 win over Burnley on Monday.
“10 against 12.. but still fighting and winning as a team,” he wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of his side celebrating. Sagna later amended the caption to just read “still fighting and winning as a team”.
The comment was a clear dig at referee Lee Mason, who dismissed City’s Fernandinho after 32 minutes. There was also controversy surrounding Burnley’s goal, leaving City displeased with Mason’s decision making.
