The Derry club took home the football, hurling and camogie crowns in Ulster this year and were originally due to play their hurling semi-final against the Dalky club on 4 February with their football final-four encounter against St. Vincent’s the following weekend.
However, after the club asked for that game to be pushed back because as many as 17 players could be involved in both games, Croke Park has instead decided to move the hurling semi-final to 25 February.
Of course, the club will face an even bigger headache if they win both semi-finals with both club hurling and football deciders normally taking place on St. Patrick’s Day.
