On The Record

I’m going to have to text him about that! It wasn’t about scoring tries, it was really about playing for the team and if you get into the right spot and score, it’s good.

Connacht wing Niyi Adeolokun was in good spirits despite hearing that his team-mate Aly Muldowney had referred to him as a ‘non-scoring winger’ last year.

The Fixture List

  • Friday night Premier League football returns and it’s a big one as Chelsea host Liverpool from 8pm tomorrow.
  • Closer to home there are four games in the SSE Airtricity Premier Division — Cork City welcome Shamrock Rovers, who will be desperate for revenge after their cup drubbing, and Galway entertain Bohemians (both 7.45pm). Elsewhere, Finn Harps host Longford Town and Wexford Youths take on Derry City (both 8pm).
  • There are also three games in the Guinness Pro12 tomorrow night — Cardiff Blues v Glasgow Warriors (7pm), Ulster v Scarlets (7.05pm) and Edinburgh v Leinster (7.35pm).
