EOGHAN CLIFFORD IS back on the track after claiming bronze in the C3 Individual Pursuit last Friday. He goes in the C3 Cycling Time Trial at 5.30pm, one of half-a-dozen Irish athletes in action at the velodrome.

First up is Colin Lynch in the C2 Time Trial at noon, and is swiftly followed by Ciara Staunton and Declan Slevin in the H2-3 and H3 Time Trials respectively.

At 1.30pm on the shooting range, Sean Baldwin goes in the R6 50m Rifle Prone qualifiers while Ellen Keane returns to action in the pool in the 100m BR heats at 1.42pm.

Patrick O’Leary‘s KL3 Canoeing 200m heats start at 3.20pm while the T53 heats of the 800m get under way at 3.22pm and feature Patrick Monahan.

In the evening, John Twomey, Ian Costello and Austin O’Carroll have races five and six of the Sonar Sailing at 5.30pm with both Damien Vereker/Séan Hahessy and Katie-George Dunlevy/Eve McCrystal off in the Cycling B Time Trial at the same time.
