JEFF HENDRICK IS edging closer to a Premier League move after Burnley reportedly had a £10.5m (€12.3m) bid accepted by Derby County for the Ireland international midfielder.
The 24-year-old attracted Premier League interest on the back of his performances for Ireland at Euro 2016 over the summer and only 24 hours ago seemed destined to join early-season surprise package Hull City.

But the Tigers today broke their transfer record on Spurs midfielder Ryan Mason, as well as signing goalkeeper David Marshall from Cardiff and striker Will Keane from Manchester United.
It now seems that Burnley manager Sean Dyche, who had been keen on Hendrick but later cooled his interest due to Derby’s asking price, will bring the Dubliner to Turf Moor before the transfer window shuts tomorrow night.
The move would see Burnley break their transfer record for the second time this summer, having spent £8m (€9.4m) to prise Belgian midfielder Steven Defour away from Anderlecht.
Ireland could now be without Hendrick for tomorrow night’s friendly against Oman at the Aviva if his proposed move to Burnley isn’t completed early in the day.
