KATIE TAYLOR IS now just one win away from qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Games.
The Bray boxer made light work of Argentina’s Dayana Sanchez in their last-16 bout in Astana this afternoon to reach the quarter-finals with a unanimous victory.
The top four women in the lightweight division at the AIBA World Boxing Championships will all qualify for Rio so Taylor knows a win next time out will allow her defend her Olympic title.
She also remains on course to claim a sixth successive world title.
