Henshaw moves to fullback as Lam shuffles Connacht deck for Munster visit

Peter Robb, Aly Muldowney and Eoin McKeon come into the starting XV for tomorrow night’s game.

CONNACHT BOSS PAT Lam has made three changes in personnel and a couple of positional switches ahead of tomorrow night’s massive interpro clash against Munster at the Sportsground (7.15pm).

Centre Danie Poolman picked up a leg injury in Connacht’s heart-breaking 33-32 defeat to Grenoble in the Challenge Cup last weekend, so Peter Robb comes into the midfield to partner Bundee Aki.

That switch sees Robbie Henshaw slot in at fullback and Matt Healy move across to the left wing from the number 15 role.

Elsewhere, Aly Muldowney comes into the second row in place of Andrew Browne, who drops to the bench.

In the back row, Eoin McKeon has recovered from injury to form an all-Galway back row alongside Sean O’Brien and captain John Muldoon.

Hooker Jason Harris-Wright and fly-half Jack Carty are named among the replacements with Carty in line to make his first appearance in 10 weeks after rupturing his spleen in a freak accident on a Dubai water slide.
