Tickets for Leicester City's final home game are being offered for €18,700 a pair

The match on 7 May sold out in 90 minutes yesterday.

IF LEICESTER CITY fans want to watch their team lift the Premier League trophy at their final home game of the season, it could end up costing them a small fortune.

The match, against Everton on 7 May, sold out in 90 minutes when tickets went on sale Monday.

However, within hours, individual tickets for the game were being advertised for €3,745 on resale websites with the BBC reporting that pairs of tickets were being offered for more than €18,700.

A Leicester spokesman confirmed that the club would actively seek out anyone who tried to sell on tickets for the game and called on fans to report any ticket touting directly to them.

“The unauthorised sale of football tickets is a criminal offence under UK law,” said the spokesman.

“Leicester City Football Club will take action against any ticket touting or any attempt to resell tickets for above their face value.

“We encourage all supporters to report any such activity to the Club.”

The Foxes are currently seven points clear of Tottenham needing nine points from their remaining five games to secure the title.
