How's this for coincidence? Neal Foulds/Twitter

Golf fans will appreciate the spooky coincidence in the 3.10 at Haydock today

How’s this for a quirk of fate?

THERE’S MORE THAN enough sport on today without suggesting something else people should throw their eye over but golf fans may want to take a look at the 3.10pm race at Haydock Park today.

By a strange quirk of fate, a horse named Seve and another name Ballesteros will go head-to-head in the same race.

The pair, who are half-brothers, were named after the legendary Spanish golfer by breeder Pauline Goode.

There are probably smarter ways to pick a winner but surely a straight 1-2 forecast would be worth two of your hard-earned euros?
