Public tickets for the All-Ireland semi-final replay have sold out

WITHIN MINUTES OF going on sale this morning, the first batch of tickets for the All-Ireland senior football championship semi-final replay between Dublin and Mayo sold out.

Given that yesterday’s drawn encounter was the first full house of the summer in Croke Park, the news is hardly a huge surprise though many fans were left disappointed by the speed at which they went this morning.

More tickets for next Saturday evening’s game were then released at 11am:

However, by 12.45pm, those too had sold out.

And the news was not much better for those hoping to pick up tickets in person with the queue for Dorset Street numbering hundreds and stretching back to Belvedere Road:
