RTÉ WILL show the Munster football final replay after a little help from Sky

The game throws in at 7pm on Saturday 18 July.

RTÉ HAS CONFIRMED it will show the Munster senior football final replay between Cork and Kerry on Saturday 18 July at 7pm.

There had been fears of a blackout due to the late throw-in time which would conflict with Sky Sports who has tended to focus on the 7pm games.

However, in a statement this morning, the broadcaster says that Colm O’Rourke and Joe Brolly will join Darragh Maloney for live coverage of the replay on Saturday.

To facilitate the airing of the game on RTÉ, Sky Sports has acceded to the GAA’s request to move the throw-in times of the Round 3B qualifiers  to 3pm and 5pm on the same day.

Their double header will feature the winners of the following 2B games:

  • Derry v Wexford
  • Tipperary v Louth
  • Tyrone v Meath
  •  Armagh v Galway
