Neymar sent off amid ugly scenes as Brazil lose to Colombia at Copa America

Jeison Murillo proved the match-winner last night.

LAST NIGHT’S COPA America game between Colombia and Brazil certainly wasn’t short on drama.

Not only did Jeison Murillo’s 36-minute goal condemn Brazil to their first defeat since the World Cup but both sides had a man sent off after the final whistle.

The Colombian defender was the first to react to a loose ball just that fell his way ten minutes before half-time.

As the game finished, Colombia were annoyed after Neymar — who was already on a booking — shot hoofed the ball into the back of Pablo Armero as referee Enrique Osses blew the final whistle.

The Barcelona striker then flicked his head in the direction of Murillo prompting Carlos Bacca to pushed the Brazilian away forcefully.

Neymar will not now be available until the semi-finals, should Brazil get there.
