Pics: Paulie waved an emotional farewell to Thomond Park this afternoon

O’Connell said that he might have played at Thomond Park for the last time.

AFTER TODAY’S PRO12 semi-final win over the Ospreys, Munster second row Paul O’Connell said that the win was probably his last ever club game at Thomond Park.

If it is to be O’Connell’s home farewell, it couldn’t have gone much better. Not only did he get the win, but the supporters gave him a massive ovation as he left the pitch for what could be the last time.
