Jamie Carragher took a very unsubtle pop at Raheem Sterling after Liverpool's loss today

Liverpool were knocked out of the FA Cup by Aston Villa and Carra wasn’t happy.

Despite being heavily favoured to progress to next month’s final against Arsenal, Liverpool were outplayed by a team who are currently ten places below them in the Premier League.

There weren’t many good Liverpool performances in the 2-1 loss and Jamie Carragher called out some of the players on Twitter.

It’s pretty obvious that Raheem Sterling is one the people he is criticising here.

Sterling was quiet today but is Carragher’s comment unfair? He has been one of the club’s best performers over the last two years but fans are quickly growing tired of his deliberations over a new deal.
