THE STANLEY CUP playoffs get under way tomorrow and one Canadian restaurant has decided the best way to mark the occasion is by creating a replica of the Stanley Cup made entirely from rashers.
Based in Montreal, Bar Brutus says it is a “stylish lounge with a retro vibe specialising in cocktails and bar fare that highlights bacon” and with this creation, it appears to be telling the truth.
Made from a whopping 20lbs of rashers, we’re undecided as to whether it’s delicious or a monstrosity.
It could, however, work in the GAA. The Ham Maguire anyone?
Would you eat a Sam Maguire or Liam MacCarthy Cup made entirely from rashers?
