BEFORE CHRISTMAS THE42′S GAA correspondent Fintan O’Toole told the story of Jamie Wall, a former Cork U21 footballer, who is fighting to regain the use of his legs after a freak accident.
It was a tragic story but Wall’s attitude to his situation was inspirational as he refused to give up in his battle to walk again. At the time of the news becoming public, many GAA players expressed sympathy for Wall and last night a Premier League footballer chimed in.
