Roscrea's Senior Cup victory tour might be even more entertaining than their march to glory

ROSCREA’S WIN OVER Belvedere in the Leinster Schools Senior Cup final on Tuesday was a great moment for the competition (and those who backed them at 3/1) as it meant CCR’s name could be etched on the trophy for the very first time.

The players and supporters celebrated wildly on the pitch afterwards (star number eight Dan Trayers even greeted viewers with a pre-watershed f**k) and it looks like they are still enjoying themselves in the aftermath.

The trophy has been taken on a scenic tour and in a great picture shared by Schools Cup legend Ross O’Carroll Kelly, the photographer wondered what the traditional Leinster Schools Cup behemoth would make of the location of the victory celebration.

Roscrea earned the right to have a bit of fun with Blackrock after ending the south Dublin school’s three in-a-row bid in a dramatic quarter-final finish.

And you got a sense that the Offaly schools celebrations would be eye-catching when they unveiled this banner after beating Belvo in the St Patrick’s Day decider.
