GAA FANS WILL probably be tuned into the National Football League action this weekend but make sure you don’t forget about the South Africa Gaels.

The club is the first all-African GAA team and they have sent over a men’s and women’s team to Ireland to play a series of matches over the next week.

The men’s team will take part in an all-island tournament on Clare Island before playing Tourmakeady of Mayo and an International Allstars GAA team.

The women’s team will take on the UCD International ladies team.

ESB have sponsored the team on their trip, which will see them visit famous GAA landmarks during their week-long stay.

The pictures of their arrival are pretty great too.
