It's all about the giant killings: 5 FA Cup bets to consider this weekend

We reckon Villa could be upset by a lower league team.

THERE IS NO Premier League this week but don’t panic, there are actually a few interesting FA Cup storylines this weekend to get you through the next few days. There’s no league action but we’ve still studied the form guide to bring you 5 bets to consider ahead of the FA Cup fourth round.

As always, these bets are absolutely guaranteed to come through provided a large number of variables fall into place.

Emile Heskey to score anytime vs Liverpool – 10/3

The magic of the FA Cup is probably dead at this stage but the return of Emile Heskey to Anfield is still a great story. Liverpool will probably win this fairly comfortably but think about how much enjoyment you’ll get if Heskey pulls one back for Bolton late on and it wins you a tenner.

Derby -1 vs Chesterfield

Chesterfield are eighth in League One whereas Derby are fourth in the Championship, but could go top if they win their game in hand. Before losing to Nottingham Forest last time out, Steve McClaren’s men had won three league games in a row so they are in a decent bit of form. In contrast, Chesterfield have only won one of their last three league encounters.

Man City under 2.5 goals vs Middlesbrough – 3/4

‘Boro have the conceded seven goals less than the next stingiest Championship defence and while the gulf in class is obviously a large one, City haven’t been thrashing teams this season. In their last six home games they have only scored more than 2.5 goals twice and they failed to reach the total in the last round when they hosted Sheffield Wednesday.

Bournemouth to beat Aston Villa – 21/10

Bournemouth have scored 57 goals in the Championship so far this season and Villa’s awful return in the same category is well documented – only two goals in their last seven games.

The match is at Villa Park but if there is to be a shock this weekend, it could well be the Championship leaders upsetting the Premier League side.

Liverpool to beat Bolton, Southampton to beat Crystal Palace, Chelsea -2 vs Bradford and Spurs to beat Leicester – 11/2

Happy FA Cup fourfold, everyone!
