But believe it or not, his Premier League winning ratio of 56% is actually the highest of any Spurs manager. He seems to be linked with almost every managerial vacancy nowadays but he has yet to bring his acumen and his beautiful sleeveless garment back to the Premier League.
In part, that is probably because he comes out with fairly ridiculous things when allowed to utter more than a few sentences. Like this.

Sherwood is the perfect manager to come into the highly dysfunctional Magpie set-up. It might not work out, but it would be riveting to see how he would co-exist with Mike Ashley and Newcastle’s fervent fan base.

He made the final two at West Brom before Tony Pulis was apparently given the job and he is now the bookie favourite to take over at Newcastle.
