Premier League teams are fighting over the chance to employ the shrewdest peaked cap in England

Tony Pulis has reportedly snubbed Newcastle in favour of West Brom.

HE IS ARGUABLY the second most famous cap-wearing manager and after doing a decent job with Crystal Palace last season it appears that Tony Pulis’ services are very much in demand.

Newcastle and West Brom are both managerless at the moment and according to reports Pulis has apparently turned down the chance to take over The Magpies, instead opting to join The Baggies.

The Telegraph are saying that Pulis to WBA is a done deal while the Mail are reporting that Pulis wasn’t keen on the Newcastle job due to the possible interference from Mike Ashley.

Tim Sherwood was West Brom’s second choice. Pulis has done a good job with Stoke and Palace but it says a lot about the dearth of top-quality managerial candidates that he can command so much attention from Premier League clubs.

Having said that, there are definitely some supernatural powers in this cap.
