Italy v Croatia suspended because visiting fans wouldn't stop throwing flares

The players were taken off the field for 10 minutes.

TONIGHT’S EURO 2016 qualifier between Italy and Croatia was temporarily suspended in the second half as visiting fans bombarded the San Siro pitch with flares.

The sides were level at 1-1 when referee Bjorn Kuipers told the players to leave the field until the smoke cleared.
