Keeping about 1,000 gallons of Gatorade right beside an NFL sideline is not a good idea

This poor receiver must have been awfully sticky after this fall.

THE GATORADE BATH is a time-honoured ritual in the NFL, whereby the winning team dunks a bucket of the energy drink over their coach’s head to signify a job well done.

That isn’t really what happened in last night’s game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Arizona Cardinals as Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin was ushered towards the sideline.

The injured-but-likely-mortified reaction from Maclin makes it even better. Of course, the incident has since been given the Randy Orton treatment.
