Three Irish players in the IRB team of the Women's Rugby World Cup

Player of the tournament nominee Niamh Briggs was named a fullbck.

THREE IRISH PLAYERS have made the IRB Women’s Rugby World Cup dream team with player of the tournament nominee Niamh Briggs leading the way.

Briggs, who just missed out to Canada’s Magali Harvey for the individual award, starts at full back for the dream team and she’s joined in the XV by Gillian Bourke at hooker and Marie Louise Reilly in the second row.

The IRB also revealed that Claire Molly just missed out on a spot in the team.
