Yesterday, on his way to a 9-over par 80, Thomas Aiken was faced with one of the trickiest lies we’ve ever seen; his ball hanging on to the edge of a deep bunker to the left of the 18th green.
Being a rightie, Aiken couldn’t properly address the ball without risking a tumble into the bunker and so took the unusual step of jumping into the sand and improvising on the putt.
