Sami Khedira: unsettled in Madrid.

Khedira: No Arsenal or Manchester United talks

The Germany international, who has seen little game time at the Santiago Bernabeu this season, has dismissed reports that he is already plotting his next move.

REAL MADRID MIDFIELDER Sami Khedira has stressed that he has not held talks with any other teams amid interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.

The Germany international has a contract with the reigning European champions until the summer of 2015 and negotiations over an extension have stalled.

Several clubs are closely monitoring the midfielder’s situation at the Santiago Bernabeu, with United reportedly ready to make a move for Khedira in the January transfer window, but the 27-year-old insists that is happy at his current club.

“There have not been talks with any other teams,” the Germany international told Kicker.

“I have never even considered leaving. And that has not changed as of yet.

“Real Madrid are a great team. There is not really a reason for me to say that I want to leave or have to leave.”

Khedira has made just four appearances in La Liga so far this term, coming off the bench on each occasion.
