Arsenal see off Burnley with ease at The Emirates

Three second half goals helped move Arsenal up to fifth.

ALEXIS SANCHEZ CONTINUED his fine run of form for Arsenal as Arsene Wenger’s side put in an impressive second-half display against Burnley to win 3-0 at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors stood firm despite heavy pressure from the Gunners in the first half, but Sanchez made the breakthrough after forcing himself past two defenders to head home Calum Chambers’ well-placed cross for his ninth goal in 12 games.

Things got worse for Sean Dyche’s men just two minutes later as Sanchez’s provider turned goalscorer, with Chambers stabbing home from close range after Tom Heaton made an extraordinary save from Danny Welbeck’s fierce effort.

Chile international Sanchez was not finished there though, as he added a third for the hosts in injury time.
