BOTH OF TONIGHT’S Ulster U21 FC semi-finals have fallen foul of the weather and have been called off due to unplayable pitches.
Cavan’s clash against Donegal was the first to bite the dust, the fixture was postponed just 20 minutes before the scheduled 8pm throw-in as a waterlogged Brewster Park surface in Enniskillen failed a pitch inspection.
The throw-in for the Derry-Armagh tie at Omagh’s Healy Park was initially delayed 15 minutes before the game was also called off.

Healy Park is known for its drainage issues, and it was just over a month ago that Tyrone’s NFL Division 1 clash against Cavan was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
Both Ulster semi-finals will now be played next Wednesday night, 5 April. Derry’s tie against Armagh will be played at Celtic Park after the Oak Leafers won a coin toss to claim hosting rights.
