Clarke then added another goal, as it looked set to be a long afternoon for Wicklow.
Eugene McVerry, Mark Shields and Caolan Rafferty also contributed points, meaning the game’s outcome was effectively decided before the half-time whistle.
Indeed, it took Wicklow 26 minutes to even register a point, through Joey Kelly, with their opponents having scored 2-11 by that stage.
Alan Byrne then added another point for Wicklow, but it did little to curtail Armagh’s dominance, as the hosts went in at half-time with an 18-point advantage.
It was one-way traffic in the second half as well, as the Ulster side coasted to victory.
McVerry, Clarke and Rafferty all added further points, as did Stefan Campbell and Tony Kernan, while their opponents failed to register a single second-half point, ultimately losing by a 25-point margin.
