Armagh won the Ulster SFC quarter-final by six points, but all the talk was about this pre-match barney.

IT ALL KICKED off between Armagh and Cavan in the Athletic Grounds yesterday.

Over a dozen players from both sides were involved in a brawl before their Ulster SFC quarter-final, sparked by a row during the pre-match parade.

The GAA are expected to investigate the ugly incident which seemed to flare up when Armagh lined up behind the Cavan flag.

Nobody was sent off but Cavan’s Martin Dunne — who scored nine points when the two counties met last year — was injured and unable to start the game.
