ARMAGH HAVE BEEN boosted by the news that Kieran Toner has returned from Australia and is ready to star in the county’s Ulster Championship campaign.
The 23-year-old travelled to Melbourne in December amid uncertainty over whether he would play any role in Armagh’s summer campaing.
However, the BBC reports that the midfielder was a spectator at Tuesday’s training session and is in line to star in the massive clash with Tyrone on Sunday, June 10.
Toner’s return comes as a timely boost to the Orchard County, given the recent retirement of star forward Stevie McDonnell, and the clash against Tyrone is seen as the ideal chance to put relegation from Division One of the National League behind them.
