Argentina legend Ariel Ortega lays on assist for 12-year-old son in emotional last game ever

The River Plate star burst into tears as a result.

ARGENTINA LEGEND ARIEL Ortega took part in an emotional testimonial at El Monumental last night.

The 39-year-old, who played a half each for an Ortega XI and a River Plate XI, was playing alongside his 12-year-old son Tomas, in addition to more well-known names including Romario, Juan Sebastien Veron, Javier Saviola, Roberto Ayala and Enzo Francescoli.

One of the highlights came when the veteran produced an assist for his son to score, causing the former to well up with tears amid the subsequent celebrations.
