Arch rivals kept apart in cup semi-final draw

Bohs play Rovers (the Sligo ones) in the FAI Cup semis, while local rivals Shams and Pats will square off in Tallaght.

BOHEMIANS AND SHAMROCK Rovers have been kept apart in the draw for the FAI Cup semi-finals, made last night on RTE.

Rovers will host South Dublin rivals St. Patrick’s Athletic, while Bohs will play at home against Sligo Rovers. Rovers and Bohs sit first and second, respectively, in the Airtricity Premier Division.
St.Pats are currently third, but could be leapfrogged by Sligo Rovers should the Bit O’Red defeat Bohemians tonight. Both ties will be played on 15/17 October, with full details to be announced later today.

In other Airtricity League news, Bray Wanderers moved four points clear of Drogheda United at the bottom of the table last night with a 2-0 home win over Dundalk. Bray are now unbeaten in four league matches as they strive to avoid automatic relegation.
