ONE OF THE most discussed moments of the World Cup so far from an Irish perspective has been Eamon Dunphy’s on-air profanity and its ensuing ramifications.
Aprés Match have unsurprisingly taken a satirical look at this incident, combining humour focusing on Dunphy’s apology and his characteristically harsh assessment of England players.
Check out the skit below, from about 0.45 seconds in, following footage of Dunphy’s actual apology.
Wel done – it’s been a great sporting week for IRL – long may it continue
Phenomenal result, team and individual silver. Great few days for Irish sport, 2 gold and 2 silver medals at World Championships in Olympic events.

Congratulations team Ireland it must be great for you to see your hard work paying off
Even more phenomenal is that “Renier Klimke claimed individual bronze”, despite Reiner being dead nearly 20 years. His daughter Ingrid however, did win bronze.
