STAR NFL WIDE receiver Antonio Brown has tweeted his goodbyes to the Pittsburgh Steelers, adding fuel to recent reports that he has requested a trade out of the organisation.
NFL ‘insider’ Jason La Canfora has stated for weeks that Brown is trying to navigate his way out the door of Heinz Field, and this evening’s tweet seemed to confirm as much. ESPN have since backed up La Canfora’s claims.
Brown posted a video of highlights in the black and gold alongside the caption, ‘Thank you SteelerNation for a big 9 years…time to move on and forward……… #NewDemands’, the latter of which also included a peace-sign emoji.

Arguably the most dominant wide-out in the NFL over the past decade, the 30-year-old Brown is a four-time All Pro and will have plenty of suitors interested in acquiring his signature.
Brown has three years left on a four-year, $68 million contract extension, and the Steelers would save only around $1 million if they trade him before 1 June.
If they trade him after that date, they would cut his 2019 cap bit almost in half from $22 million to $12 million, but would also carry around $10 million in dead money for 2020.
The Steelers are reportedly seeking a first-round pick and more in exchange for Brown, who has posted 11,207 yards and 74 touchdowns from 837 career receptions to date.
