Munster’s Simon Zebo scores his second try. Inpho/Billy Stickland

Anthony Foley hails history-maker Simon Zebo

“He has come back from the Six Nations with good confidence,” the coach said.

Updated at 13.06

ANTHONY FOLEY PAID tribute to Simon Zebo after he became Munster’s all-time top try scorer in the 47-0 rout of Zebre.

Zebo, playing at full-back, crossed twice in the third quarter to seal the bonus point and in the process take his Munster haul to 43.

That’s two more than Anthony Horgan managed during his superb career with the province.

Foley said that Zebo returned from Six Nations duty full of confidence.

“Simon came back this week, and in training there was a good vibe about him. He came in with a good attitude all week.

You saw that in his performance all tonight. It was a tough night for anyone in the back three there. And for him to capitalise on two, it’s impressive from him. He’s a good poacher.

“The one down the line, where he stripped the winger, was impressive. He shows good gas.

“He has come back from the Six Nations with good confidence. And hopefully we see the best of him now until the end of the year,” said Foley.

I still get the feeling the best is yet to come with Zebo. A man entering his prime.

I was at Munster and stade francais a few months back in thomond and 2 man standing beside me absolutely abusing zebo throughout saying he belongs in a circus and hasn’t got the balls for Rugby- basically totally dismissing him for his style of play not being ‘traditional munster’. People need to realise how good he actually is and how special he could be given time in the 15 shirt.

In fairness Shane, he went through some games earlier this season, after the WC, and also last season with his head up his a** and not playing smartly or as part of a team at all. But he’s a different player now and has improved significantly with better vision, he’s worked on his speed (obviously), and had a very encouraging 6N. I personally hope we see more of this improvement in the next two HUGE Pro12 games.

I know that he was off form but I was just pointing out the fact that there are people in munster who hate to see someone like zebo actually take teams on and play with a bit of style, and yes hopefully dave because as bad a season as we’ve had, 2 big performances over the next two weeks and we’re right back in it. I know zebre were poor but we made very little mistakes which is encouraging

Great to see Anthony Horgan’s name again. Despite the amount of tries mentioned I’ll always fondly remember him being chased down by a kiwi lock in Lansdowne Rd after he intercepted Spencer I think! Class with no gas!

The irony is, the same lads who said that have probably never stepped foot on a rugby field!….. Zebo is the kind of lad who could have turned his hand to any sport. In fact I understand he was quite an accomplished GAA man in his school days as well! Has played very well at 15 for Ireland and really seems to be growing into the role……

Foley has refused for most of this season to play Zebo at Full Back and only now with Zebo excelling in the position with Ireland does he do it.
Munster need a Director of Rugby badly, to make the right selection calls firstly and develop a style of Rugby that will be both competitive and entertaining and that’s not the Foley way.

That’s ignoring the fact that Andrew Conway has been having a very good season at full back and Zebo hasn’t looked like he’s been arsed since he came back from the World Cup. Complete joke to blame every single thing on Foley

I think the ‘ignoring’ is yours, looking like not being ‘arsed’ as you put it is just a biased viewpoint to support your position whereas I’ve never got that impression at all.
He’s an exciting talent who thrives in some space and giving him ball on the touchline is never going to allow him demonstrate what we’re seeing now.
Conway is a good player more suited to the Wing in my opinion.
And that’s where it all comes back to Selection policy and the man who makes the decisions.

Not ignoring anything, your memory is very selective. Zebo has been playing poorly all season by his standards. Maybe you’re ignoring the fact that Zebo’s natural position is wing and Conways is full back? So made sense to play them there thus far. If your memory wasn’t so selective I’m sure you could look back a few weeks and remember most people calling for Payne at full back rather than Zebo. But Schmidt selected him because Kearney was injured and he wanted a Payne Henshaw midfield. Zebo took his chance and now foley is giving him further opportunity there.

HACK ATM MACHINES NEAREST TO YOU AND BECOME RICH!!!
You can hack and break into a bank’s security ATM Machine without carrying guns or any weapon.

    How is this possible?
First of all we have to learn about the manual hacking of ATM MACHINES and BANKING ACCOUNTS.

    HOW THE ATM MACHINE WORKS.
If you have been to the bank you find out that the money in the ATM MACHINE is being filled right inside the house where the machine is built with enough security. To hack this machine We have develop a special blank ATM Card which you can use in any ATM Machine around the world. This ATM card is been programmed and can withdraw $1000 within 24 hours in any currency. There is no ATM MACHINES this BLANK ATM CARD CANNOT penetrate because its been programmed with various tools and software. The card will make the security camera malfunction at that particular time until you are done with the transaction you can never be trace. It also has a technique that makes it impossible for the CCTVs to detect you, Getting the card you will forward the me your details so we can proceed to send the card to you once you agree to the terms and conditions. You would wonder why i send out the cards instead of using them my self to get enough money. The card does not work in my current country so i am using it to help people and they will send me part of the money once they get it and use it. If you are interested then email me for more info:( rebecca_brown12@outlook.com)
