Daly and Howard hit with bans following pitch-side bust-up

Meanwhile, both Clarecastle and Kilmaley have been fined as a result of the incident.

DUBLIN MANAGER ANTHONY Daly and new Kerry boss Tom Howard have been hit with four and eight-week bans respectively, for their roles in a recent pitch-side bust-up.

The duo have been banned by the Clare county board after being involved in a flare-up during a county minor final between Clarecastle and Kilmaley.

In addition, Clarecastle selector Stephen Sheedy has been banned for four weeks and Kilmaley coach Niall Romer has been handed an eight-week suspension.

The clubs have each been fined €3,000, and have until Thursday to make an appeal against the verdict.
