ULSTER COACH MARK Anscombe took full advantage of the northern hemisphere’s season still being a month away this weekend.
After his son, Gareth, helped the Waikato Chiefs to a dramatic 27-22 win over the ACT Brumbies to retain their Super Rugby crown on Saturday morning, Anscombe senior flew home to Hamilton to join the celebration.

The Kiwi fullback this morning tweeted the below image of the Ulster coach with the words:
“Awesome to have the old man fly back from Ireland to surprise me. #yougotme.”
